The 2024 Canadian Acne Guidelines will mark a significant milestone for healthcare providers across Canada. With the last update in 2016, it comes at a pivotal time, ensuring that practitioners are well-equipped with the most current knowledge and strategies in acne management.
- These guidelines will emphasize a multidisciplinary approach to care delivery. To reflect the changing nature of care delivery by healthcare providers, including expanding scopes of practice, a collaborative approach involving dermatologists, primary care providers (GPs, pharmacists, NPs, RNs), and other healthcare experts, these guidelines ensure that patients receive comprehensive care that addresses all aspects of their wellbeing.
